Our History
Since 1967, Swanson Construction Company has served the Quad Cities community as a family-owned and operated business. Through the years, our company has expanded and changed to meet the demands of the industry.
In 2001, with the onboarding of President Steve Swanson, Swanson Construction Company’s focus shifted toward commercial growth.
After the Great Recession hit, Steve and the Company adjusted their business model—working smart with less resources and focusing on maintaining quality not quantity. It was at this time Steve recognized the importance of cultivating strong partnerships with all involved companies and individuals.
The family business grew in 2016 with Emily Mapes, Steve’s daughter, and Keigan Scott, Steve’s son-in-law, joining the team. As Swanson Construction Company looks to the future, they see opportunity to recognize the legacy Swanson Construction has created both within their family and in the community.
